Instigators & dis-informers... Folie a Trois are artists Lili Spain, Sarah Grainger-Jones and the creative puddle between. Folie à Trois literally mean "a madness shared by three" and is a rare psychiatric syndrome in which a symptom of psychosis, particularly a paranoid or delusional belief, is transmitted from one individual to another. They work with performance, spoken word and intervention to create surreal, macabre and absurd performances using a range of outlandish costumes and found objects. They reference mythology, fairy tales and psychology. Folie a Trois are in many ways a psychiatric curiosity….
